かった。しかし、Oxford Saidの話を聞いてみたり、British Council
のクラスに申し込んでみたりと、いろいろと進みはあった。

　　全体80人位。８割位男性、海外の方数名。
　　Oxford saidのプログラム（MBA/EMBA）に関して説明して
　　くれた。また、体験授業として実際に教鞭をとっている日本人
　　の人が授業をしてくれた。理論だけでなく、実態経済に基づい
　　ていることが重要と言っていた気がする。
　　国の発展具合の推計方法、クズネッツカーブなどに関して話を
　　していた。細かいところは分からなかったけど、話自体は面白
　　かった。
　　Oxford saidは元々候補として考えていなかったけど、Social
　　Entrepreneur に重きを置いていると言う話は興味深かった。
　　また、Oxford said独自の1+1MBAは非常に興味深いと思っ
　　た。MBAを１年で終わらせずに、その後他の選考でMaster
　　を取得する。大変そうだけど、かなり興味あり。
　　Alumniは大きな学校であることにとても価値があったと言っ
　　ていた。said自体は１４０人ぐらいで、どちらかと言うと小規
　　模。入学後にcollegeに所属して活動をするらしいが、collage
　　にはSaid以外の学生もいる為、いろいろな出会いがあり、それ
　　が視野を広めるのに役にたったらしい。

■所感
　・Oxford Saidや、Cambridge Judgeは今後検討の対象に
　　入れていこうと思った。学ぶ環境としてはとても優れてい

　　と思う。特に、speaking & writing はこの機に集中的に
　　やり込んで、5/10の試験で目指せ7.0。
　・１年間の活動のペースメーカーが欲しい・・・。

かった。 週末は３連休だったが、疲労もあり金曜は寝過ごしてし
まった。土日に関しては、British CouncilとAGOSへ行き、各々
IELTS対策講座に関する説明とレベルチェックみたいな物を受講。
両校で結果が全く異なったため、何が信じられるのかは分からな
いけど、British CouncilでIELTS対策講座を受講することを決め
た。

■所感
　・英語の勉強にはかなりの努力が必要そう。BCの表では
　　Speakingのレベルで5.5-6.5、その他技能のレベルで7ぐら
　　いの評価だが恐らく過大評価。良いとこOverallで6.0ぐらい
　　が自己評価。
　・二校のIELTS対策講座体験をして、writing&speakingには自
　　己表現が必要であることを学んだ。適切に構成された文章に
　　幅広い語彙、正しいな文法表現。これらをMIXして、如何に
　　自由に英語を使えるかを示すのが重要。
　・同じく社費留学の同期はTOEIC900 overでTOEFL 80とい
　　う噂。かなり勉強をしているらしいので、負けずにがんばら
　　ねば。

週の前半は夜間立ち会い、週末は部会などイベントが重なったため
勉強は全然進まず。でも、Ivyへ行って話をしてみて収穫もあった。
日本人アプリカントにとっては英語が鬼門。TOELF/GMATいずれ
に於いても。GMATのVの為の単語は勉強しても仕方が無いらしい。
ネイティブでも人生に一度使うかどうかの専門用語が出てくるため、
類推しながら読んだと行っていた。また、英語の試験は
TOEFL＞ GMATと言っていた。

■所感
　・MBAの為の予備校を探すというよりは、キャリアカウンセ
　　ラーとしてより良い関係を築けそうなサービスを探したい。
　・Speakingに関してはかなりの努力が必要そう。今日、久々
　　に日本で英語を話したけど、全く言葉が出てこなくてちょっ
　　と焦った。これは恐らく今まで英語で話したことが無い様な
　　話題だったからと思う。
　・キャリアプランに関して英語で語れるように、エッセー書き
　　始めのネタとして練ってみる必要あり。日本語で考え、日本
　　語で書き、英語に訳す。というチマチマした作業を少しずつ
　　進めるべし。

仕事で週末にイベントがあり、勉強のペースが崩れた。３月８日に
はIELTS１回目を受験する予定だったが敢えなく断念。次回受験予
定が ５月１０日であることを考えるとかなり大きな痛手。最初で
最後にするぐらいの気概で望む。

　　テストまでにNew Insight into IELTSが完了しない可能性が高く
　　なって来たため進捗なし。
　　-IELTS with answers 9
　　３月８日分の穴埋め用として公式問題集を購入。TESTが４回分
　　収録されているため、テスト形式への慣れと弱点確認の為に利用
　　する。主に週末に時間を計って使う予定。

　・IELTS受験申し込み（6/7受験）
　　３月の受験を逃したため、５月１０日以降に１回予定しておく。
　　５月２４日も予定があったが、５月１０日受験分の結果発表の翌
　　日となり、対策検討の余地が無いため１回は見送り。

　・留学予備校調査
　　進展なし。そろそろ３末めどで決める。

　・会社対応
　　とくになし。

■所感
　・仕事のスケジュールによって勉強のペースに大きな乱れが生じ
　　る。分かってはいたことだけど、急な仕事をさばくのはなかな
　　か難しい。先取りでどんどんこなしていき、１９時退社を徹底
　　する必要あり。
　・まだまだ甘えが多い。もっと自分に厳しく。

今の仕事の具合と、勉強のペースに関して感覚がつかめてきた。
平日は１日２時間が平均的なペース。これを実現するには、仕事を
１９時で切り上げる必要がある。今のところ大丈夫。
一方で、休日の使い方には難あり。２日で１５時間を予定していた
が、実際は１０時間行くか行かないかだと思う。効率的且つ、戦略
的に週末の二日を使っていきたい。

　　４月にも一度受験する予定だったが、締め切り一週間前で既に募
　　集を終了していたため、仕方なく５月受験の応募

　・留学予備校調査
　　進展なし。１個上の先輩に聞いたらAGOSへ言ったらしい。英語
　　に関しては、あまり効果はなかったらしい。

　・会社対応
　　留学向けの計画整理＆提出。月間勉強時間８０時間で一旦は提出。
　　先輩の話からすると、それぐらい時間をかけられる人はなかなか
　　少ないらしい。
　　８月TOEFL卒業、１０月GMAT卒業１月applyが王道のスケジュー
　　ルらしい。個人的な目標は５月IELTS卒業、７月GMAT卒業。

■所感
　・IELTSに限らない話とは思うが、英語の試験ではparaphraseがと
　　ても重要。Listening,Readingはこのスキルをどれだけ磨けるかで
　　markできるscoreが大きく変わる予感。（語順の置き換え、受動
　　態能動態、同義語など）
　・同じく、Writingに関しては構造的な文章を書くことに注力する必
　　要がある。
　　　−General Infomation
　　　　何のことを言っているのか？をざっくりと伝える。グラフで
　　　　あれば、何のことを示していて、どういった傾向があるのか？
　　　　Processであれば、何のProcessでインプットとアウトプット
　　　　は何か？など。
　　　−Details in indevidual
　　　　対象となるgraph,char,processなどで示されている事象の詳
　　　　細を記載する。詳細は何でも書けば良いのではなく、特徴的
　　　　な部分を記載する。
　　　　graphであれば、傾向が変わるポイントごとにperiodを分解
　　　　しそれぞれに関して記載する。chartであれば、行程などによ
　　　　り分割可能な範囲で分割し、それぞれを記載する。なお、詳
　　　　細を記載する場合は、そのポイントが示す値などをもれなく
　　　　記す必要がある。
　　　−Conclusion
　　　　特にgraphに関してはその結果、graphから何が言えるのかを
　　　　最後に記載する。
　　　　要は、対象を見なくても対象を大まかにつかみ、重要なポイ
　　　　ントを相手が認識できるぐらいの記述が必要。
　・そろそろ予備校に関して方針を決める必要がありそう。個別具体
　　的な事象を対象とするよりは、全体をマネージメントしてくれる
　　コンサルティングサービスの方が利用価値が高いかと思うがどう
　　か。
　・細かい英文法を忘れている部分が多い。時制の選択、前置詞の選
　　択など。今回の試験が終わったら要復習。
